Hi!
I'm a linguist from Denmark, and Danish is my mother tongue.
More, precisely, I'm from the easternmost part of Zealand (Sjælland) about 30 km south of Copenhagen (København). My accent is therefore pretty close to "standard Danish" which is the standard used in the media, though some people hear a touch of southern Zealandic accent in my speech.
I also speak Western Jutish (vestjysk) since my family lives there and I'll pronounce placenames from that part of the country in the local dialect as the local people know them.
